The Skinny on Lipo-Dissolve

Necessity is the mother of invention. So when Dr. Patricia Rittes, a South American Dermatologist, found a way to dissolve the fatty deposits under her eyes with an injection of Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholate and it worked, Lipo-Dissolve took on a life of its own. Like its name, this newest procedure in medical esthetic arsenals actually melts or dissolves away unwanted fat. The procedure usually involves a series of three, sometimes four; microinjections spaced four-six weeks apart by a trained physician and cost $400 per treatment area.
Not to be confused with Liposuction, Lipo-Dissolve works best on people with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of less than 30. These are generally people who may work out and are the appropriate height and weight for their frame but have certain areas on their body that just won't respond to their daily exercise and dietary regimen. It's important to keep in mind that Lipo-Dissolve is for spot fat reduction and not a weight loss procedure.
Phosphatidylcholine is a soybean extract, and Deoxycholate is a synthetic manufactured to act like the naturally occurring deoxycholate, which is a bile salt. The ingredients in the compound work to break apart fat cells and flush them through the body through our normal waste removal. The fat cells removed by the Lipo-Dissolve treatment are gone, but other fat cells remain and they may expand to accommodate increased food intake.

Like any other fat removal procedure, the key to its effectiveness is a healthy lifestyle. So when we remove fat cells from your "love handles" and you consistently choose to eat unhealthy fatty meals, not exercise, and not drink enough water, the fat will find its way to other parts of your body.
